The price of gold, what a bank actually pays on a fixed deposit, which income tax bracket you fall into — in Bangladesh, that kind of information is usually scattered across ads, group chats, and PDFs nobody updates. BD Financial Review exists to put it in one place, in plain language, in English and বাংলা.
How the numbers get here
Rates on this site are entered and checked by hand — gold and silver prices, FDR rates, income tax slabs — not pulled from a live feed. Every change is logged. If a number here looks a little behind the market, it's because someone hasn't gotten to updating it yet, not because it was guessed.
English first, বাংলা as we get there
Articles are written in English first, with বাংলা translations following article by article. Any page that isn't translated yet says so, rather than quietly showing you the English version and hoping you don't notice.
Independent, not advice
This site isn't run by a bank, a broker, or a government office, and nobody here is trying to sell you a financial product. What's here is information — use the calculators, read the numbers, and make your own call. For anything that actually moves your money, talk to a licensed advisor.
